Privacy Policy

This policy explains how information is handled on oakgrovehouse.org. The site is a static publication and does not operate user accounts, advertising trackers, or a back-end database.

The contact form

The contact form on the home page runs entirely in your browser. When you submit it, the page simulates a short delay and shows a confirmation message. The information you type is not transmitted to a server by the form and is cleared from the fields after submission. To reach the editorial desk reliably, email editor@oakgrovehouse.org directly.

Cookie choice and local storage

A notice on the home page asks you to accept or reject cookies. Your selection is saved in your browser's local storage under a single key so the notice does not reappear on each visit. This value stays in your browser and is not sent to the site. Clearing your browser storage removes it and the notice will appear again.

External content

Images are loaded directly from Wikimedia Commons. When your browser requests those images, it contacts Wikimedia's servers, which may receive standard request information such as your IP address. Wikimedia's own privacy practices govern that interaction.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will appear on this page with an updated review date.
